Little is known about behavior when multicomponent PFAS is present in the fluid-fluid interfacial adsorption, although PFAS retention in the vadose zone is decreased in part by competitive adsorption at fluid-fluid interfaces. We present a mathematical model to forecast interfacial tension and air-water interfacial adsorption for multicomponent PFAS and show how, at high concentration, the convolution in space and time is significantly changed.
